| Our modified T-Jet drivers race 30 minutes on a 10 turn, 60 running foot scorpion buck track. Their fast lap times are in the 6.8 second range. They race 5 minutes per lane @ 6 lanes..... We race Fray style plus: open gearing, Aurora, Johnny Lightning, or AW chassis, open armature, Lexan or resin body. No traction magnets, no swiss cheese chassis. Each lap = 1 point After 26 races cup champ Brent Bences laid down 5,725 laps. We figured that a 200 lap race on our our 10 turns = we pull the trigger over 2,000 times in a race. That will calus your trigger finger. Brent's car traveled over 65 miles this season. 2 drivers made all 26 races: Brent, and Brad Bences. |
